Still, I have a severe fright for banshee Once I felt, I saw her under a tree It made my poor brain sizzle And on bed, made me drizzle. At night, hearing a shriek, I had to flee.

My mother used to love to use the word banshee to describe children running around making a lot of noise. LOL..I enjoyed reading this one. Sara K

Somewhat frightening folk lore around St. Patrick's day.

Dear Valsa, O' that banshee is both spooky and amusing! I loved the image of your brain "sizzling" and you "drizzling" on the bed is quite the scene. The fear of the banshee's shriek is palpable, capturing the essence of Irish folklore's eerie tales. Just a delightful and chilling piece! Spring Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel
