Balloon is Going to Pop

Giant green worm began to take bites Out of the enormous apple balloon so bright The balloon should have popped, but it did not. What gives? Asked a teensy tiny wise young tot. I think the balloon should have popped said a man. His name escapes me now, it may have been Stan. The giant green worm was eating good and hard. Balloon’s going to pop! Yelled a poetic bard. A crowd had gathered, we were watching now. The red balloon floated over a cud-chewing cow. What is happening? Asked part of the new mob. The balloon popped, landing hard on a corn cob.
