Badgering

Don’t pick a fight with a badger You may think he is cuddly and cute But he’s terribly strong He has claws that are long And a body that’s rather hirsute Don’t go harassing the badger Don’t bait him or chase him for fun For he only eat bugs Earthworms and slugs And he lays on his back, in the sun You’ll not get the best of a badger He is faster than you are, by far You’ll not beat him with force So your only recourse, is To knock the beast down with your car So don’t you go badgering badgers They are one of this country’s delights Don’t assault the poor chap Don’t assail or attack After all even badgers have rights
