Back Stabber

Rage of biblical proportion I think like God when I think of the notion Love as deep as an ocean you can mess with my head but don't mess with my emotions Poisoned and there is no antidote My forgiveness is an anvil trying hard not to float Drowning with the weight of disaster Love turn to hate I can't think of nothing faster Beauty, that's what you were to me the biggest part of this curse is what I have to leave Insecurity is not my mistake Trust was so fragile so easy to break Impurity for love or just a date To live with jealousy is to live with hate

you didn't tell me you had a win with this one, 2nd place no less, written from the heart and experience methinks, that knife in the back hurts...mr modesty who usually trumpets about his poetry is strangely silent whenever he has a contest win (another one of your character contradictions)

I resent the trumpet statement. My poetry doesn't me to trumpet it. That would be in bad taste.

Hello, John, i love the notion that defines the ocean within your head.. i do not think God is one we should mess with. ,, about the ending of your poem, i think we all live in hate one way or another... jealousy is the rage you talk about..xox~pd

‡ 'To Live Jealousy Is To Live With Hate.' Since Your Precious Heart Mentioned, 'GOD,' This Powerful Poem Made Myself Remember A Verse From The King James Bible Wherein Was Spoken, 'The Spirit Is A Jealous Spirit...' Understanding There Are Many Different Forms In Jealousy, Then Yes Dear John, Let Us Stive To Rise Above, Amid The Tender Arms Of Love. Wonderful Poem, Truly. Love, Rachel ‡
