Donnabelle

Close your eyes Donnabelle, Save all the love in your heart, Let it all be settled in your spirit, Sleep in God's warm embrace, While time runs fast over you, All my love goes with you too, Memories so alive and awake, Weave our living story, Silence engulfs your countenance, An ambiance of peace of a river, Whose chatter grows not weary, So do my hopes and devotion, My lovely Donnabelle, Lay adrift in the lake of silence, I will always bless my affection, My delicate Donnabelle, My darling Donnabelle, Broken into sticks and dust, Mingled with colors of her memories, Lovely art in my heart, Days run year after year, Yearning bites the solitude, Of our world vehemently divided, By the icy wall of death, Tween me and Donnabelle, This song of my constant longing, For my beloved Donnabelle, Soon will cease its fervent wailing, With the evening chimes of the chapel's bell, For that long-awaited wake of me, Of myself who loves so much, To my intimate Donnabelle, With the hopes of God's appearing, Who turned death into glorious sleep, I will rest beside my cherished one, My ever-loved Donnabelle, When trumpets sound of God's coming, When tombs shatter from their purpose, Among its ruin of bits and shambles, Will raise my sweet Donnabelle, Fairy in her glorious smile, The Face of God she shall behold, With precious souls of the vast array, She will shout the victor's praise, Praise Him! Her God and mine, The fountain of love and of our love, Our hopes and devotion, Of me and Donnabelle,
