O' forlorn
a baby born
birth God came
down from heaven
and His ascension His spirit
He placed in the womb

His Son a child Emmanuel
and to save us He must
He Himself must be birthed as man
To save us from our sinful doom Oh!
Hallelujah to save us all each and every one
Hallelujah who knew that a baby boy Jesus Christ
~
Emmanuel would be with us
And God we trust hope bless it and mother Mary
How's this baby you carry the Savior
Savior of the world baby Jesus
Hallelujah Savior of the world
Hallelujah praise God
~
Thank be to God
For sending down His only Son
To stand for us and God We trust
Thank you God for your Son
Baby Jesus God with us Emmanuel
