Awhile In Time...

I close my eyes for a while, just a while And I see a familiar darkness I recognize Astonishingly, comfort was found somehow A tranquility I’m always in welcome to reprise Images in random united within Moving in with memories, moving out with tears Whether the real world, or a dream to have been Lived were all remembered and forgotten in years Decidedly, a tune replayed in mind A tune… for myself and a someone who knows And as before, time has left me behind Is there once a me, you remember to have enfold Then, came future to foresee Imaginable moments, unpromising and bleak Either achievable or unavoidable to be The unforeseen isn’t in justification to seek And I open my eyes after that while The other side of darkness I’m unable to recognize Unfortunately, of comfort I’m aware of somehow Yet, this instance I’m in regret to reprise
