A rising orange sun kisses the good earth, stirs nature to sing of the sun's great worth Each awakes to the allure Of animal song, food to procure Summer's heat slowly ends Animals know nothing to dread But soon cold winter begins Will there be food enough for them? Will their hidden dens be warm? Totally on nature they do depend To carry them through each storm Man in his wisdom tries to store away food for future use The reserves slowly get less each year, have we this land abused?
