Autumn's Warm and Windy Day
AUTUMN’S WARM AND WINDY DAY
A warm but; windy autumn’s day
Watching; as tree branches sway
As weaken leaves forced to let go
Autumn putting on her best show
As this wind for dogs, best please
Noses pressed against the breeze
Owners hands, held to their head
Case hats blow off, they so dread
The birds cling as feathers ruffled
To these winds, they are toughed
Cats now are nowhere to be seen
Stay undercover, keeping pristine
In high winds, flies a coloured kite
A bird flaps its wings, with a might
Such, a warm autumn’s windy day
I would not have it, any other way
