Autumn's Beauty
Below an ancient shedding oak tree,
Dry leaves crunch crisply under my feet.
As I walk briskly down a tree-lined street,
Windblown leaves rattle along beside me.
Suddenly, the autumn wind gusts violently.
A kaleidoscope of leaves fills the air,
Sending bright colors flying everywhere,
With leaves fluttering to the earth silently.
A setting sun illuminates the trees of vivid leaves.
Its golden glow highlighting a painted scene,
Displaying fall's faithful beauteous routine
And conveying the melancholy spell it weaves.
