Autumn Whirling

 

O withered garden,
your dazzle is decaying;

And leaves are falling,
burnt orange and yellow drop,
drifting, twirling and whirling.

Skye Tandy October 23, 2014 at 10:20 AM I feel such sadness when I read this poem. I am a gardener, and this time of the year is not my favourite. I love the last line, since to me, the dropping of leaves, random and slow, is near painful and sums up my feelings for autumn.
