Autumn Speaks
Autumn speaks softly, as it whispers hello.
It's breezy greeting a little bit mellow.
This season comes bearing gifts, so alive.
Summer is over, only the memories survive.
Dusk will come earlier, shortening the day.
An increasing darkness, chasing daylight away.
Bright crisp mornings, skies are clear.
Frosty evenings, remind us, sweater time is here.
The holidays that this season will bring
are festive, family togetherness, voices will ring.
Primary colors, deep and rich all around.
Red, orange, even beautiful browns, abound.
Autumn is plentiful, offering so much.
For this season, nature provided just the right touch.
