Teddy Kimathi Poet Free verse

Autumn Romance

Your    beautiful smile    blends so       nicely
with the                   background      of red,     yellow,
and orange leaves,             gently spiraling
to the             ground. And yes,            some leaves
create a crown on             your              fiery hair,
making       me wonder whether     you are   a   goddess...
Softly we engulf         in each        other's passionate      fire,
as          we softly fall          on the        ground carpeted with
nature's         colorful       splendor.
I taste       desire            on your   lips,
as the         autumn leaves flood          over us,
with sweet         fragrance          and beauty....
