Colored leaves swirled with emotion Around us, our hearts beat as one You held me in perfect notion Our smiles as bright as the sun The breeze touched us, in a love’s dance Around us, our hearts beat as one Looking in our eyes in a trance We knew that we found something rare The breeze touched us, in a love’s dance We reminisced about all we share There is nothing that can compare We know that we found something rare I held your hand, this day so fair We laughed about the apple pie There is nothing that can compare To this love that reaches the sky Colored leaves swirled with emotion We laughed about the apple pie You held me in perfect notion Heidi Sands 9/26/17 *Placed 4th in the Autumn Romance contest.

Feelings of awe entered my heart when I read this incredibly entrancing poem this morning! This is the height of romance here, "Colored leaves swirled with emotion/.../You held me in perfect notion," such beautiful lines! I loved this piece, Great Work!!
