Autumn Please
To love colors is to love the season of Fall
To love Fall is to love the stunning beauty of trees
To love Autumn is to love the last days of baseball
To love colors is to love the season of Fall
Golden colors, The Fall Classic, trees, and falling leaves
It's so refreshing that the high temperatures are gone
It's harvest time, when we reap the fruits from seeds
Golden colors, The Fall Classic, trees, and falling leaves
The fires are not completely gone and hurricanes are threatening
The winds pick up and seek out companions in the canyons
It's a time for active faith, for praying, and not for fretting
The fires are not completely gone, and hurricanes are threatening
Some like it cold, the winter clothes, the snow, and skiing
Some like the rebirthing or the resurrection qualities of Spring
Some like the Summer heat, the shedding of clothes, June weddings
Some like it cold, the winter clothes, the snow, and skiing
I like a little Winter, a batch of Spring, a bit of Summer, lots of Autumn
September, so enchanting, and those three syllables capture me
October and November, with the shout of festivity, feel so very solemn
I like a little Winter, a batch of Spring, a bit of Summer, lots of Autumn
