Ann, thank you so very much! As I watched my husband clean up another batch of fallen leaves I thought about each leaf as a gift but Autumn never cleaning up after herself! But, that being said, Autumn is a season that so many of us look forward to celebrating - messes and all! I am so happy that my wonder of autumn glory came through these haikus! Hope you are having a wonderful autumn. Sending you blessings in a rainbow of color!

Hi Linda! Thank you for your note of congratulations! So appreciated. I, too, like to ignore brooms as well as vacuum cleaners! But, the dust bunnies seem to stage a continual invasion so I am happy to have these weapons to fight them off even when I have tucked them into the back of a deep closet pretending I can ignore them! Sigh. Sending you all the blessings of this season of abundance.!

Thank you my friend! This was inspired by watching my husband rake up leaves - again! Makes me wonder if Autumn thinks they are a gift?! Hmm! All the best! Blessings for this season of abundance.

Thank you so much Chris. I had fun with this haiku chain thinking of all of autumn's beauty even though she tends to leave a trail of debris in her wake. We have two lovely liquid amber trees that give our broom a work out during fall! Blessings to you!

Congratulations on this winning work. Way to go. With wind whipping and outer bands of a hurricane coming they might all be down in a few days. Sara

Keeping all of you in our prayers as Nicole approaches. That is true pandemonium! Sara, many thanks for your congratulations. It just seemed to me that Autumn never cleans up after herself but her leaves, corn stalks and empty vines are reminders of her bounty! Sending prayers and blessibgs!

My....! What striking images, dear Sam. What pandemonium the unruly autumn creates ! I like the image of the 'shabby sable mounds' ignoring the broom. Also the naughty wind leaving autumn's hair in disarray ! Only you can bring such arresting visual images into life. My FAVE...
