Autumn Is Coming
The sun shines upon the acorns on the street
That have started to land on pavement they meet
Later, they will fall steady like the rain
Banging on the metal roof, rattling in my brain
Autumn is coming and the colors will shine
All over this mountain hill, at this house of mine
I will watch all its glory with gratitude each day
I will hold every sight in my memory to stay
