Autumn Colors
What makes a leaf green is the chloroplast.
Since they expire in the autumn, they don’t last.
In September, the green disappears rather fast.
In that season, we see a magnificent color blast.
Red, gold, and brown are among the pretty hues.
For the fall season, those trees are paying their dues.
