[Not for 'August' contest]

Ants in their hoards creeping, crawling Ugly bugs swarm round their nest Grubs eat my veg without warning Under ground, moles are a pest So okay, at least I won’t shiver… Till we get that storm from the west

I actually like August, GW, but, right now, my garden has got about 1000 ants for every blade of grass. Yekkkh is most definitely the word.

Thanks, Ilene. Wrote a different one for the contest. Wrote this one because this august in the UK has, thus far, been atrocious. Hopefully we’ve now seen the back of storm Antoni which came in across the Atlantic and brought rain by the bucketful.
