At the Foot Bridge On River of Fire
At the foot bridge on river of fire
I saw the lanky devil of Derbyshire
He walked with a kind of amble
I had a good reason to tremble.
I borrowed trouble from his peer
Hundred dollars in yesteryear
He glimpsed at my furrowed face
I gulped for air and picked up my pace.
I was about to cross the skanky bod
But my steps were awfully flawed
He seized me and choked my voice
With hundred dollars I had no choice.
Then he cut a clean hole on my throat
I gave up the ghost under his gloat
In a loony night my timid limbs did bloat.
At the foot bridge on river of fire
I saw the yucky devil of Yorkshire
Oh I cannot tell you this story
I am dead I am sorry.
