Notes About The Poem

At the End of the Rainbow

Whenever I see a rainbow it always makes me smile I love to admire their natural beauty for many a while What will I find at the end of a rainbow - it won’t be a crock of gold that much I know! I seek neither fame nor tremendous wealth For I am extremely rich, as I possess good health Good health is something that cannot be bought I know from experience, it’s not a lesson that is taught So you won’t see me chasing rainbows to find a pot of gold But I will rejoice at their stunning beauty until I’m very old Contest: What is at the end of your rainbow Sponsor: Eve Roper 01~21~16 Dedicated to the memory of my lovely friend Josie who passed away on 20th January 2016 the logo of her pre-school playgroup was a rainbow

I agree, rainbows are beautiful. I especially get a thrill when I see a double rainbow. I have no specific for the definition of poetry, except in a very general way. If it's well written and makes it point(s) clear, then it's good poetry. Thanks for the stop, always appreciated, and sorry to have of your dear friend's passing. /M
