Pattern I used: 2 pairs of consonant alliterations per line

Sequence Example

Line  1 -   x  = 8

Line 2 -  8+2 = 10

Line 3 -  8-1 = 7

Line 4 - (8+2 )-1 = 9

Line 5 - 8-2 = 6

Line 6 -  (8+2)-2 = 8

Line 7 =  8

________________________________________________________________________

At day’s demise, lovers linger. Wind whispers over a beautiful beach. Sun sets. The lovers hold hands. At twilight - trembling -they see splendor. Purple paints satin sky. Calm caresses them; bliss blesses. Darkness descends. Small stars twinkle.

Interesting poem pattern. Also I agree that the stars twinkle after the day demised. A kiss or a romantic stroll on the beach is amazing as the day dies.
