THE PIECE OF MUSIC IS 'MORNING' FROM THE PEER GYNT SUITE BY EDWARD GRIEG, IT IS A PIECE I HAVE ADORED SINCE I WAS ABOUT 5 YEARS OLD!

we wake up at the crack of dawn to view the gold sun rise it’s a glorious sunny morn let’s wander over verdant hills crossing the patchwork fields of vibrant xanthic daffodils and watch them dance on zephyr breeze their golden trumpets sound as blackbirds chirrup in the trees after a hike we’ll stop and rest and gaze at the blue sea our nature rambles are the best! Magnificent imagery and scene-setting, but that's not all: It increases one's vocabulary with "xanthic." Until I read your poem, I thought daffodils were simply yellow. Delightful, Jan. xxx Paul

thanks Paul, xanthic was a word I discovered when writing an abecadarian poem, and it's far more poetic than yellow:-) hugs jan xx

Such an awesome write Jan - I love to watch a sunrise and when we go on holiday we normally leave about 5 o'clock in the morning on our trip so that I can watch the sun rise over the vast grasslands. Certain music or songs stick in our minds from very young, you have married your love for this music with a creative poetic masterpiece. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.
