As You Sit Awhile
J-ust let Sunday night turn
I-nto early Monday dawn;
N-ew morn has broken,
K-ind clime stops the
Y-awn.
C-old chill and pouring rain
A-re nowhere in sight;
B-eneath the blue sky,
A-nother dark becomes bright.
L-et the beacon shine
T-o make your eyes smile;
E-arly light twenty-sixth December
R-ises as you sit
A-while.
