As You Celebrate the Day
A-s you celebrate the day,
L-ight above is shining bright;
V-iew of the dark has faded
I-nto the shadows of the
N-ight.
E-very first morn in August
B-irth of you causes mirth;
I-t brings joy to the event,
D-ay as you celebrate
O-n earth.
