As the New Day Begins
T-he new day begins,
E-liminating the night;
S-unrise starts to show up,
S-etting everything aright.
P-ouring rain disappears,
A-pril sixteenth Sunday;
C-old chill has vanished,
A-fter the fog fades away.
M-orn has just broken,
A-iming to make some sense;
R-ays from the beacon shine,
A-s the new day begins.
