As I Watch Her Sleep

With wonder in my soul I stroke her hair and touch her cheek As I watch her sleep I look and dream Silent promises to keep As I watch her sleep Hold her hand Inspect every breath As I watch her sleep Lightly kiss An exposed forehead As I watch her sleep For a man who feared Always being alone Yearning for the one That last great love Has come along This I know is true For my spirit soars My heart sings As I watch her sleep

Wow... I really like this poem. It reminds me of Bright Star by John Keats. Good job -J.T.
