As I Lay Here, I Wish..

As I lay here with my head down, I'm doing nothing else, but thinking of you. I think to myself that I hope you're alright, And I hope I can talk to you soon. As I lay here now I know I'm alright, Because thinking of you makes me happy. All I'm doing now is smiling, And I know if you were here, you'd be smiling back at me. How is it we can look at the same night sky, See the same stars, Wish the same wish, And yet we are still so very far apart? Well, I hope for one wish, That, tonight, you will be in my dreams. And, ordinarily, I would ask what you wanted, But I know that you wished the same thing.
