As I Dream

Sometimes I have the craziest dreams Other times they are so real, so scary My favorite ones I’m flying, it seems, Full of life and adventure, often hairy! Often, I relive periods of my life past Nearly always good times I truly enjoy Wishing those vivid dreams would last, So I could change methods I’d employ. Seldom do I dream about my childhood And I have often wondered about that, For it was a mixture of bad and good Never aligning with any normal format. I love to dream, to go back into my past, Or plunge headlong into a future realm Where the possibilities seem so vast Especially, when I’m at the helm. The best dreams, always, I am in love I relive those incredibly happy scenes, When Deb and I worked hand in glove Making the most of our meager means. She is still such a big part of my dreams And I suppose that will always be so … I would have it no other way, it seems, To live again with her now as long ago.

Touching read Milton. You were so blessed to have a partner such as Deb. I think she would be touched to read all you have written of those special times and moments that live in you heart until you reunite. Your heart reveals what is special and wonderful to you, and that will always be a love named Deb. God help you get through those heartfelt moments of reflection my friend...

I enjoy, especially, reading about your life and times with Deb. Sigh. Peace, Gershon

Thank you, gw. As the years go by, I miss her more and more. I suppose that is natural, but I don't know. I do know no one could ever replace her.

You are in terrific company here, Hank. I have never dreamed about my childhood. My sister says I don't remember it, and i believe she might be right.

I think we mask out some of our childhood this is unpleasant.

The reference to your beloved wife added a touch of endless love and nostalgia to this splendid text.

Thanks, again, Marco. It seemed fitting, since I do often dream of her. She seems to be always somewhere in my dreams, and I find that rather comforting.
