Argument For Love

And if I proved that stars
are not far away, just smaller,
would that make wishing
and believing less popular?
Would the sun and moon
then seem larger, perhaps large
enough, for all people to share,
and our earth a giant blessing
worth together saving? What
is size anyway? God
can be an infinitesimal concentrate
or large as a universe – would that
change His and our love for one
another, raise or lower us a degree
in any direction? Senses can
deceive...but deep, abiding love
is nowhere and everywhere, timeless
and indestructible.
