Are We To Believe Lies Dark World Has Told

Are We To Believe Lies Dark World Has Told When I hope for goodness to always win, Ride my old horse well before break of dawn, While nature gifts its beauty of a fawn Am I to be chastised for my sins " Doth our God his blessed rewards withhold" ? Mother sky sends its hardest lightning blasts Shining glory its gleaming arrives at last Dare we not with this exposure be sold Can the written word its powers yet give As poet or a sane man declares Is it not Holy of Heaven that cares? Are we not to love life and thus we live. Am I now just a vessel too damn old? Are we to believe lies dark world has told? Robert J. Lindley, Sonnet Note- Some questions are almost impossible to figure the answer to unless help flows from above. One must learn to ask and it shall be given. _______________________________________ Terms: By submitting a poem, I hereby certify that the above poem is my original work, was written by me, does not contain profanity (curse words or abbreviated curse words), and that all rights to this poem are owned by me. Robert I am very frustrated that post for that PS did not fix his page. My suggestion to you is that you erase this poem, and post it again. And erase this one. Nobody is going to look way down for a comment box. So please do that, and I will comment then. Your comment box is like a lost submarine. If PS won’t fix it please repost it post … poets will not look for submerged comment boxes. PR
