Are My Scars Not Enough
Let me find the love I need,
And the love I wish to give.
Let every effort be,
Of the life I wish to live.
My journey has been rough,
And the path is tougher still.
Are my scars not enough?
Was there not too much revealed?
So what I understand,
Was it meant for me to know?
It was never by my plan,
That I travel down this road.
Thinking back, I do believe,
That I have the strangest fate.
Even if it's temporary,
God, I pray, You'll stop the rain.
