Arbor Life
Clear skies cast away all the clouds that she weaves
As I wander through the trees on a cold winter eve
Mother Earth's breath of wind unaware of it's power
While some fail to stand others still tower
I wonder do they know how each one is unique
Some strong and majestic, some frail and so weak
An old burly Oak with parts that have broke, whispers
To creatures, come take my shelter I bid you my cloak
Do they ponder a summer with fruit on the vine
What once was a sapling has become so sublime
The fragrance of Cedars with fresh morning dew
Are they tears left behind, did they cry for the moon
A bird in a hollowed out Sycamore sings....
Does he know that her time to pass will come soon
No need for Man to tend what God's made
One pure and perfect life in a glade
