April Showers Bring May Flowers
Anacreontic Verse 3 Contest
Sponsor: Edward Ebbs
Tender sprinkles
drizzles of vigor
April grants
roots of life
entwined seedlings
buds a bloomin'
Spring flourishes
slivers of sun
pansies sprout
splendid day lilies
peak with desire
unknown beauty
lying beneath
earth's tilted axis
eager to blend
May penetrates
mother nature
with her seasons
new life awoken
merging blossoms
pink lilies adored
daisies of yellow
florets embraced
alluring scents
stunning white roses
a lovely gift
for my sweetheart
