A t this time of the year, spring
P revails and the tulips grow
R esplendent, as rich colors
I nfiltrate patches of white,
L ike jewels set in the snow.
S unbeams dance between the drops
H igh in a sky of rainbows
O n the early days of spring.
W ild flowers eager to bloom
E specially like the rain,
R eady to pop from the ground
S oon as the first droplets fall.
