Apps
Thank God we have our apps,
That makes our living a snap,
To tell us how to think,
Drive a tank, or skate in a rink.
I’ll pull up an app and play a game,
Perhaps an app will chose my baby’s name,
An app to help me become something I’m not,
Or the app reminds me of something I forgot.
I’m now an expert at chess, poker and skeet shooting,
As long as my phone is not re-booting,
I can sail a boat or drive a race car,
Pretend I’m a pilot and fly a plane far.
You can shoot a trophy buck,
Catch a bass and design a truck,
Whatever you want to do,
There is an app for you.
So I thank God today,
For this app that helps me pray,
Living really is a snap,
As long as I have my apps.
