Approaching Thunderstorm

Building! Building! Building! Throughout the humid day. Clouds billow in the atmosphere to ever deepening gray. Rumbling! Rumbling! Rumbling! Thunder rolls until its end. Lightning jags and then the rain completes the stormy trend.

Love your description of the storm, I can smell the earth after the rain, no better smell except maybe gum trees. SuZ

Thank you Suzanne. We don't seem to get the thunderstorms here like we once did. I wonder if lightning started some of those fires in NSW and QU. We'll probably be next in VIC - thanks for commenting Suzanne - Lindsay

Hello Jennifer … we've had a decent share of rain down south here, but up north it's like hell has taken over; severe drought, savage bushfires, and not even summer yet. We don't get thunderstorms like we used to here either - thanks Jennifer - Lindsay
