"I'm sorry", Two words that mean so very much.
Especially when your words or actions have hurt someone who loves you very much.Sometimes people see or hear things that they misunderstand and then they retell what they THINK they sawor heard. When this happens people often get accused of things they never really said or did.And often nothing they can say or do in their own defense is believed. This often causes a rift that cannot be repaired.
When we say or do things in the heat of the moment we often make mistakes that deeply hurt others and it's necessary to apologize if we ever want that person to feel the same about us again. When we refuse because we know our intentions were good, that just doesn't cut it because all it does is cause the pain to go deeper.
Why?
Because we show that person that we really don't care if their feelings were hurt because we said or did what needed to be said or done. Right or Wrong. The we think we can go along and act like nothing has happened and in time they will get over it. If they don't we accuse them of holding a grudge.
Well they aren't so much holding a grudge as realising that they mean little or nothing to you. That knowledge changes things a lot. A Word To The Wise:
If you love someone, ACT LIKE IT.
Their feelings should be just as important as yours are.
