My short life has been a m i r r o r shattered,
the drum of time has rolled by the years- days;
deep SCARS like maps on my soul are scattered.
Oh, endless pain is like a chain of lead,
and sadness drifts of the long and new dead;
on my wall of time- dark, deep G R I E F lays . . .
My days have been weather- stained and tattered,
beauty travels a t w i s t e d path and maze;
that proves to me- that my life has mattered.
Oh, my future holds A P A T H Y and dread,
and I wear a mask- alone it is shed;
yet, there are moments I escape- the h a z e . . .
