Four pall bearers with a coffin were not,
in a cemetery able to find their spot.
They walked ‘round and around
all the cemetery ground,
so I’m certain they have lost the plot.

Poor pall bearers, I bet they were dying to get the job over with and go home! Enjoyed your witty Limerick...that includes the title, too! ~ Regards // paul

Hello Paul … I guess it would be appalling to watch pall bearers trudging around a cemetery, followed by the mourners. Thanks again Paul - Lindsay

I hope they didn't leave it to rot! (But I guess that's what a cemetery's for)

Hi Lindsay, a very humorous poem - maybe they dropped it and ran - no coffin for me - ashes in the sea! Well written Lindsay! Poetry hugs Jennifer

Hello Jennifer … I don't think I'll be worrying too much where I end up. Perhaps they put it in any plot - catch you soon Jennifer - Lindsay
