Anything I Want

ANYTHING I WANT If I could have anything I want It would be world peace But that will never come to pass Until hatred and killing cease Atrocious acts committed By people who don't care Hate crimes running rampant People doing whatever they dare The only hope for world peace Will not be found on earth It can only come through Jesus Christ Born of Virgin birth He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life He died for the sins of the world To Save us by His marvelous grace And his banner of love is unfurled Now I have made it known What the one thing is I want most To know world peace is available And Christ already paid the cost 1 November 2019 For the contest sponsored by Chantelle Anne Cooke

Thank you so much, Gordon. Yes, all is well with me, and I pray it is with you as well. It has been a while. I had a 'dry' spell when nothing triggered a poem then, suddenly, I have written about a dozen an placed in 5 or 6 contests. Be Blessed, my friend!
