Anyone Who Gave a Damn

Anyone who’s seen my face, could look at me and tell of my sadness Anyone who’s heard my voice or read my words would call my life absurd, I long to feel gladness. If you look inside my heart you’ll see who I truly really am and if you also have a heart we’ll find understanding for two of like kind If you look inside my heart. Anyone who gave a damn, would know I am changed with the years, dear Caring for you like I do I’d take you back, without you I’d die dear The words said here are quite clear. So, anyone who gave a damn Would share their dreams with me and give a try Hey, anyone who gives a damn. Life's too short you're here for seconds and then you die anyone who gave a damn To the tune of “Anyone Who Had a Heart” Grens Evergreens # 4 Cilla Black Poetry Contest Sponsored by Teppo Gren 6/12/18

Sian.. Tonight, the mountain sky is clear. In a few hours the stars will tease me with their winks. The twilight is for your poem, and it's as enjoyable as the coming sunset!
