Anxiety
Awaiting results to any test,
Not knowing if you will be the best.
X-rays that look at painful places.
Ignominy from the laughing faces.
Emitting sweat from underarms,
Tense but not knowing what's wrong.
Yesterday’s fear, today’s calm.
