Another Use For Duct Tape

In my husband's first pastorite Had some young married men Who were full of mischievousness At a church social late one night These young men disappeared Out of everyone's sight Out on the parking lot They did their deed Duct taped the headlights (Another use for duct tape) So when we did leave They could laught at the pun But my husband just Onto the road he did run But he stopped when he Saw their faces Oh the sight of their Disgraces and horror That it could be a disaster

sounds like some poor fellows got run down by the cars because it was too dark outside to see with duct tape on your headlights...eesh that's sad and pretty horrible. disgrace wouldn't cover the half of it.

We always teased my Dad about being the King of Duct Tape! But this is one time, the consequences could be frightening!! Hope all turned out fine!!!

Dear Sara: Wow!!! I am glad that every thing turned out O.K. for you and your husband. Like that old saying goes "Idle hands are the Devils workshop." Have a great day: Sheol

Well, I bet he sure taught them a lesson then! That was smart of him. Gosh, sometimes I'll leave my job at night and forget to turn my headlights on becuase of the well lit area. Then here I am driving to the freeway in the dark. Gradually it dawns on me, but people must think I am a freak! Good one, Sara, and I enjoyed your thoughts on my poem. Andrea
