animals

What a marvel, the animals,
Seagull or iguana, no ego,
Lynx or elephant, no ego,
Under the baobab, think the monkey,
What a marvel, the animals,

They inspire all poets,
Who do you take for an owl?
Will you copy the art of the cheetah? ,

What a marvel, the animals,
From the forest, they are the heroes,
elephant or lynx, no ego,
Squirrel or python, no ego,
What a marvel, the animals.

Quelle merveille, les animaux,
Mouette ou iguane, pas d’égo,
Lynx ou éléphant, pas d’égo,
Sous le baobab, pense le singe,
Quelle merveille, les animaux,

Ils inspirent tous les poètes,
Qui prenez vous pour une chouette ?
Copierez vous l’art du guépard ?,

Quelle merveille, les animaux,
De la forêt, ils sont les héros,
éléphant ou lynx, aucun égo,
écureuil ou python, aucun égo,
Quelle merveille, les animaux.

Yes, animals are special each in its own way. Thank you for sharing this one with us. I think in the wild it is best at this present time to leave them alone. They all pose a threat because it is their nature. Sara K

I agree. They are such a marvel and humans have managed to bring many of them to the brink of extinction

Something to think about there: No egos. We can learn from that, can't we? ~ Gershon

Learn from not committing or supporting genocide is also a good thing.

A powerful, almost reverent, appreciation for the natural world.  Authentic existence, contrasting human fineness and philosophical questions: Animals are heroes of the natural world, sources of inspiration for the world’s writers of poems.

Such a wonderful poem about a non common subject « Animals «. I think that they have more ego than the contemporary generation. At least they don’t do drugs and they inspire many good things. C’est vraiment une grande merveille.

Unlike man, an animal has no ego. Indeed animals are the beautiful creation of God. Many of the animals like lion, giraffe, cheetah et al are the heroes of the forest.
