Angel's Wings

As the gray clouds shifted like shuffling cards along, The light came streaming through Reaching far, spreading with the bird’s song And quickly the sky’s canvas was blue Scattered white clouds stayed behind Moving with the wind, shining bright I reached as high as I could, to find Peace, illuminating from the light As I walked, it reached my heart below I could feel what I needed, to get by To help me go with the flow All given from blessings, in the sky Now, I’m less restless and able to think, More clearly with the onset of things All with the shift of clouds in a blink I feel serenity from angel’s wings Heidi Sands 6/4/22
