And So It Begins

And so it begins . . . a soul has crossed over from some pre-existence – just from where – I don’t know. Through times glad and sad; with deeds good and bad, the soul chooses pathways along his life’s flow. So what will be the soul’s lot? Does he learn from his errors? How far can he go on? Has he -from some previous life – either good or bad Karma brought? Or was his birth on the earth his very first dawn? Though his dusk on this earth comes soon enough, I think eventually that the soul wins. He’s going, he’s going. . . just to where - I don’t know. A soul has crossed over, and so it begins. This is quite stimulating. There is record album I would like to recommend to you. It is Santana's Caravanserai CD - which has a song on it called Eternal Caravan of Reincarnation. You work reminded me of that theme. Our souls hopefully will go somewhere after our bodies disintegrate. I remember thinking 2000 was so far away, Peace & Love Matthew Anish

and interestingly, there is research to support that reincarnation was a part of Christianity teachings until it was removed during the Fifth Ecumenical Council in the year 553.

A good one. The answers lie in the bible. If you truly believe and trust the Lord you have your answers. If you have lost someone then there are no words to describe the loss of a family member, friend, or even a pet. In my prayers.

I believe in God, but not necessarily in religion, Bette. I truly believe we "go on" to another realm.

Your poem feels so deep in thoughts..the soul does guide and like you say.. it wins in the end. Best for a win, Andrea.
