And So It Begins
And so it begins . . .
a soul has crossed over
from some pre-existence – just from where – I don’t know.
Through times glad and sad; with deeds good and bad,
the soul chooses pathways along his life’s flow.
So what will be the soul’s lot?
Does he learn from his errors? How far can he go on?
Has he -from some previous life –
either good or bad Karma brought?
Or was his birth on the earth his very first dawn?
Though his dusk on this earth comes soon enough,
I think eventually that the soul wins.
He’s going, he’s going. . . just to where - I don’t know.
A soul has crossed over,
and so it begins.
