Ancestry

Do you know your Ancestry Tree? We may be related you and me, The branches stretch from shore to shore, With unknown relatives galore, Different genes all mingled and mix It's the luck of the draw as we can't pick, And choose, Colours of different hues, Black, White, Brown or yellow, Fat, Thin, Tall, Short, Or girl or fellow. How did I become me? And become part of this family tree. Are we all from one seed Indeed, I think that is so, And God nurtured that seed to grow, Big and strong, Placing us all where we belong. In this colourful family tree, Sharing the same ancestry.

I've just been reading about one of my late wife's ancestors whose children were born in Stratford-upon-Avon, Bristol, Sheffield, Prussia, France, Denmark, Wales, Eire, and Bengal. Another had 9-sons, each of which died in a different, far-flung corner of the British Empire. It is indeed a small world! Enjoyed! Aloha!

I have documented over 20,000 ancestors for my late wife, whose gedcom probably links to yours although I don't recall any Hawkins yet! Aloha!

We are all mongrels when all is said and done. I enjoyed your interesting comment, Rico. Some of my ancestors came from royalty, and some lived and died in the workhouse. They came from all over the world too.
