An Unfortunate Arrival

THE UNFORTUNATE ARRIVAL "Dedicated to VICKIE MACKEY a true warrior on the battlefield for this fight against cancer " It arrives at your front door, uninvited too rude, too fast, too Detrimental Too Determined to knock.Spreading as Wildfire moving Fast and furious It Does not Wait for No one,no need to look at the Clock.Leaving hearts Broken everyone In Shock.Teardrops replace The Words that cant be Spoken.Faces displayed With anger, denial, Frustration,Procrastination Haunted some of the curious Leaving them with no education,no interest Another home.Another family Another tragedy, another heartache "CANCER HAS ARRIVED" Without An invitation So Blind as It sees no Race, creed or color Too Deaf as it Refuses to hear Any Cries for help or Dispair' Sadly Heartless ,as it feels no Compassion When Striking the Young or old leaving a death like Stillness In the Air.as we scratch Our Heads Badly in Disbelief realizing that often Life Isnt Fair "CANCER HAS ARRIVED for anyone, everyone all across the nation what An ugly situation Are we ever prepared for such a Deadly Invasion ? Tearing life as we Know it apart, knocking Down the innocent Some never Having a chance to start. Is there even a hint of a Positive Equation? leaving all of us Holding question marks Needing Answers to Explain Why. Will we ever feel complete Looking for the truth Needing Hope while losing faith on years and Years of research ,countless Dollars spent efforts to remain Grounded yet lives Still lost cures Remain Unfounded,Questions Only GOD can Answer CANCER HAS ARRIVED. Dear GOD will we ever Find Salvation ? "May all who have lost their battle with cancer forever rest in peace " m.cooley 4/22/18
