Your love was an unexpected gift I fell for you quick and so swift The dark clouds are no more Thank you so much "Mi Amor" I don't know how this love story will end No matter what I've gained a true friend To be honest I want to love you all of my days For this girl's heart you truly do amaze I like your style and what you stand for You have that "it" factor and much more The love you have for people moves me Because it's done in all sincerity Loving you always is my plan My darling you're a remarkable man Alexis Y 12-15-16

Smooth flow, great message on love and yes friendship has to be within love's realm or else its not love methinks. Exceptional couplets.

You know Alexis, my opinion has always been, the first step in any romantic relationship is friendship, that's where it starts and to see people end up hating each other in the end really hurts me because, what happened to the friendship that started it all. This poem touched me and I loved the part that basically said, if it doesn't work out I still have a friend. This was a wonderful poem. You are so talented.
